It’s Your Move, Inc. (IYM), in partnership with the Scouting America (SA), proudly introduces the establishment of the It’s Your Move, Inc. /Explorers Career Development Post (1145) in Jersey City, New Jersey. This initiative is designed to empower youth through leadership, workforce readiness, and strategic thinking while building pathways into sustainable careers. IYM has been a long-standing leader in youth development, providing mentorship and education through chess and mental wellness, career readiness, and community service. This new partnership with the Scouting America
represents a significant expansion of IYM’s mission to prepare the next generation for success.

Bobby Stewart
Executive Director & Committee Chair. /Post # 1145
Bobby Stewart Founder & CEO It's Your Move, Inc. - Chess and Mental Wellness (13yrs) with Hudson County Correctional Facility, Jersey City Community Activist, It's Your Move Media, Former aide to former NJ State Assemblyman and former Superintendent of JC Public Schools the late (Charles T. Epps Jr.), Former Commissioner of the Jersey City Historical Preservation Commission. (Mayor Steven Fulop). Currently IYM a 501c3 not-for-profit provides chess and mental wellness services @ JC Public School #6, two Senior Programs / Joseph Connors Senior Center and Maureen Collier,(Jersey City Health and Human Services), provides chess and life skills to the male and female population @ HC Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Center.
Since 2011, Mr. Stewart and his organization partnered with McDonald's (Quintana Organization) providing chess and mental wellness to thousands of residents in Hudson County and Essex County. Mr. Stewart also serves as Director of Media Relations for National Action Network (Jersey City Chapter). Mr. Stewart founded his LIFE Show - interviewing people making a difference in Jersey City. In 2026, It's Your Move, Inc. in partnership with Scouting America (Formerly Boys Scouts of America) in collaboration with PANYNJ will launch their It's Your Move- Explorer's Outpost Career Development Post #1145 in Jersey City. The Post will provide career development and internships for high school seniors and college students in Jersey City, Union City, Linden, and other parts of Hudson, Union and Essex Counties. The launch date is September 2026.

Lisa Setzer

Lisa Setzer is a 37-year veteran of the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey and began her career with PATH in 2014. Throughout her distinguished tenure, she has held a variety of roles including Survey Agent, Police Timekeeper, and Supervisor of Police Planning & Administration at JFK Airport, among others.
At PATH, Lisa managed the Transportation Division's administrative, budgetary, financial, and procurement functions. As Transportation is the largest division at PATH, she quickly developed a strong understanding of both the internal and external operations of the PATH system. Lisa takes great pride in the accomplishments of the individuals she has trained and mentored, and she is continually inspired by their professional growth and success.
One of the highlights of Lisa's career includes her involvement in the
ScheduleSoft Initiative and implementation at the JFK Police Command. In this role, she provided critical feedback and assisted in developing and implementing corrective measures to ensure the system was efficient, effective, and user-friendly. Another rewarding experience was supporting the ARFF Cadre transition at the JFK and LaGuardia Airport Police Commands. Lisa was especially gratified to learn that both initiatives continue to be successfully implemented.
Beyond her professional achievements, Lisa is deeply committed to service and leadership. Community involvement is truly part of her DNA. Her service includes volunteering as an adult literacy tutor; serving as a Den Mother for Cub Scout Pack 753 in Staten Island, NY; acting as a Girl Scout Leader; and supporting food banks and shelters by feeding and clothing those in need.
Lisa also gives back to her alma mater, North Carolina A&T State University, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Business Administration. She served as a Member-at-Large on the North Carolina A&T State University Alumni Association Board of Directors and remains an active member of the New Jersey Aggies Alumni Chapter. From 2018 to 2020, Lisa served as Chairperson of the Planning & Development Committee, where she collaborated on and led fundraising initiatives that directly supported
scholarship programspsost and positively impacted students' futures-truly paying it forward.
When she is not hard at work, Lisa enjoys traveling and sewing.

Alan McCoy

Alan McCoy, raised in the Greenville Section of Jersey City, NJ. Athlete that played multiple sports for Snyder High School Family. Started his career with local union IBEW as a journeyman electrician in 1990. In 1995 he was looking for a stable career path and took the firefighter's test. in May 1997 he became a Jersey City fireman in the neighborhood he grew up in. Married, father of two, holding two full time jobs at the same time, he raised his family not far from where he worked and grew up. Alan retired from the fire department in July 2022 after serving over 25 years and retired shortly thereafter as a union electrician, where he worked for 32 years. In his retirement, Alan studied and became a licensed life insurance agent to bring comprehensive financial planning to the community. Alan loves to travel as well as educate others on the importance of being financially independent.

Hermione King

Hermione's 35 years of service with The Port Authority of NY & NJ, she brings a wide range of experience, mastering the complexities of the transportation industry, overseeing critical operations, and navigating the high-stakes environment of the world's busiest transit hubs. With this experience, Hermione provides the students with more than just basic skills; she offers "high-level" mentoring rooted in the real-world experiences, implementing the vigorous standards of the Port Authority in the world of transportation. She gives the students an understanding of a career in the Port Authority from the ground up, detailing all the benefits and rewards of working in the world of transportation. Her career path traveled from a Lincoln Tunnel Toll Collector to earning the title of "Operations Tour Manager" at the Staten Island Bridges speaks in volumes. Now presently retired, her mission is to prepare the Youth of Jersey City for the professional World, with many rewards in return for participating in the program.
